The Dr. Samuel A. Mudd House is currently closed until Spring 2026. When an official opening date is set we will update here and on our social media sites.
Guided house tours will begin on the hour and are limited to 15 ticketed visitors. Tickets are on a first-come first-served basis. Visitors may be required to wait for the next tour if the current tour is full. Groups may be split between two tours if the current tour can only handle a portion of the group.
House tours last approximately 30-45 minutes in length.
The final tour begins at 3:00 pm. Visitors must be ticketed prior to the start of the 3:00 pm tour to be included.
The gates and access to the grounds will close at 3:00 pm.
We do not offer advanced ticket sales or reservations. Tickets must be purchased on site at the time of visitor arrival.
The house and grounds are not accessible beyond our hours of operation.
We offer themed walking tours of the property on selected occasions depending on the guide’s availability. Walking tour dates, times, and pricing will be shared on our web page and social media outlets when they become available.

The admission fee helps with the continuous upkeep of preserving the home of Dr. Samuel A. Mudd.
